I'm the proud owner of a Nikon D60 - My first SLR.

We bought it right before our anniversary vacation in September of 2009. I don't think I have taken more photos of any other vacation.

I always said my computer editing skills made me a good photographer, now I say it's my camera! NOPE Never Again will I say that. After reading THIS and after hearing numerous times,
you have missed your calling Karen!

I think my love for photography started when a digital camera was put in my hands by a man named Dave, whom I worked for back in 1999. I was inspired knowing that I could just snap away forever, without ever having to pay for a picture I didn't want. It was photo freedom. LOL. Also being a crafty scrapbook-er helps. What's a scrapbook without photos? Photo albums are for people who can't creatively display photos, and shoe boxes are for the lazy and those who don't cherish their photos. At least put them in a photo album for heaven's sake, why else did you take the pictures in the first place?

I'm sure you have enough things in your house that already collect dust, lord knows I do!

P.S. Don't buy me a photo album. It says to me that you think it's not worth my time to put them into a scrapbook. I think I own one photo album and it's a holding place until I can put them into a scrapbook! I know one day I will never have the time to put all the photos I take into a scrapbook, but until that time I'm a full pledge scrapbook-er =)

I don’t think people understand how I feel about the photos I take. A fellow scrapbook once told me she keeps her scrapbooks stacked up next to the front door. All family members are instructed that if the house were ever to catch on fire they are to grab so many on the way out. And yeah the feeling is kind of like that! The thought of a fire burning my house to ash is very sad, if all my family got out safe the only thing I know that would the only thing I would truly never be able to replace is my scrapbooks. Everything else seems so immaterial in comparison to the memories documented in them. This is the reason I have a website. No one can burn it down! I love being able to share my life and the things I love in it thru photos although it may take me a month or two to actually post them! =)

To the man who wouldn't post/give me a photo credit for the pictures

I had taken of his band because I was an AMATEUR!

My famous phrase, after taken millions of photos of the cat was,
